My students learn best by getting their hands dirty. They love science and have been asking when we are going to the lab. Our next segment has to do with cells. With your donation, I would love for my students to make a model of a cell using Styrofoam, buttons and playdough to make the cell, as well as the components inside of the cell. We will be using paint to cover the Styrofoam and to mark their name. The labeling of the cell components will be used with sticks and tags that stick upwards. I want them to be proud of their work and have it ready to be displayed by parent night.
