These materials will be used in the pilot year of a high quality early childhood classroom created in a secondary school setting. The children attending this program are those of educators in the school district or children of teen parents within our school district. The materials will be used to provide a open-ended, reggio learning for the students at school each day. The wooden blocks were selected becuase it will allow students the opportunity to use their imagination and build their own creation. The other materials will allow the students to combine them and express their imagination!
