It's my 2nd year in public school and this year I will be focusing on teaching my students with special needs through playing and rewards. Since most of them are non-verbal with autism, playing and making conversations while socializing will help me gain my students' interest and self confidence in learning virtually or in-person.
These materials will be used to get their attention, will be used as part of my daily lesson and rewards after they reach their daily objectives. Whenever they feel overwhelmed or tired, they can have access with the sensory materials to calm themselves.
