The students will be able to explore their creative side with crayons and use the markers for practicing writing their name, numbers, letters, and words. The students will be able to take the crayons and markers home to continue practice. Many do not have the materials they need to even practice writing their name. We teach the fundamentals of literacy and my students deserve materials that are comfortable for their tiny hands and allows them the opportunity to creatively show their thinking. After having virtual students last year it is obvious how important hands on instruction is.
