Good quality visuals make all the difference in opening up the world to our students. We use them to create visual schedules and choice boards so students feel a little in control of their daily lives. Pictures create a vocabulary for those who haven't found their voice just yet. Showing our students what this big beautiful world can offer through big beautiful pictures used in activities like self portrait puzzles, family books, and social stories is huge in helping them find their place. We make magic in our classroom with good visuals and are able to share that magic with each and every family we work with.
