Air Fryers provide students with new opportunities to learn to love to cook. Instead of learning how to deep-fry and use large quantities of oil, we are shifting our focus to healthier choices. Please help my student learn new techniques and have more opportunities to learn in our labs. These air fryers are great for the students, as they are much like ones in most homes, and this allows them to learn and feel comfortable cooking a variety of foods in them. While they work in the kitchen, they work as a team to prepare food for not only themselves but their peers and other teachers as well. The students take great pride in the food they make and they often go home to make it for their families once they gained the confidence from learning it in class.
Air Fryers might be one of the most popular new kitchen tools due to their versatility in the kitchen. They have the availability to make protein in healthier ways, reheat leftovers, cook your sides for dinner, or even make a quick snack. My Family and Consumer Science students learn so much from hands-on labs and I enjoy teaching them real-life skills in our foods labs. The kitchen equipment will enhance our learning in our foods labs greatly and provide students opportunities for more labs.
