This project will provide an opportunity for students to use felt (wool) as an art medium. Many students donʻt have access to felt art education and this will be a great opportunity for students to explore and open their art experience through different materials. We will be using the felt to make endemic plants and animals of Hawaii. By using this material, students can learn how to document endemic species in hopes to learning how to converse, protect, and advocate for the flora and fauna of Hawaii. We need more arts-integrated learning experiences for students!
