Classroom carpets allow students to congregate in one inclusive area, making it easier to manage behavior and tend to each students' needs. The carpet chosen would allow my kindergarteners to learn the colors on the carpet and how to keep one another safe by being in their own square; thus, having ownership of an area.
By donating to our project, you will help to improve and increase student attention, focus, and you will increase their academic achievement.
Like all carpets, this one would be multi-purposeful. The students would sit on the carpet for calendar, weather, Heggerty, story time, while they play with manipulatives, and more. They could also stand up on the carpet for brain break videos!
