My students would love to learn more about the world around them. Informational texts are often though of as lengthy and difficult to read. However, Scholastic News makes current events engaging with visuals and thought-provoking questions. Studying current events provides an opportunity for students to build informational text vocabulary and help students become better readers. It also helps students make sense of the world around them and challenges them to think critically.
Help me spark curiosity and inspire an interest in my students for learning current events with Scholastic News! My students would benefit greatly from Scholastic News through reading and engaging in conversations with each other about current events!
