These materials will help my students take a trip around the world exploring art! While we won't be jet-setting around the globe, we will explore art from different regions of the world. Not only will we get to experiment with materials like scientists, we will also be studying like historians and building knowledge of geography like adventurers. At the end of the day, we are creative problem solving young artists! While we get to have fun and learn so much at the same time, including geography, history, and STEAM while doing our art, my district is also strongly focused on Social Emotional Learning. Our top priority is to make sure our students are receiving the best education that we can give them in a caring and safe environment. Currently we are attending classes in person, but with COVID looming in the background of our lives at this point in time, it is entirely possible that we shut down again like we did last year. If that happens, these supplies will be put into packets for use during remote classes. No matter our learning model, we are committed to making sure all of our students are inspired, safe, and fulfilled.
