Students will be moving and working in different parts of the classroom throughout the school year. Learning in the gifted and talented program, students are not restrained to only working at a typical student desk. My students will need to design, collaborate, build, test prototypes, and conduct experiments to collect data. This involves moving around the room and working in different locations. Flexible seating allows students to settle into different locations of the room to comfortably work on activities in a creative way. Without flexible seating, students will only have the option of working at desks or tables.
