The students have been studying experiencing and playing and performing African drumming for the last 17 years at my school. I would like to be able to offer the students of Middle Eastern cultures and opportunity to experience their culture through drumming. Having doombek's for the students would open a door to the cultural experience that I feel is necessary to complete the training that I offer. The students will have access to taking a personal doombek home for practice and rehearsal. They will also perform for the community and have family art nights including the Middle Eastern drawing.
