SINES is a new, inner-city school that has recently received funding to add a music teacher! I have been given that extraordinary honor, but there is no funding for absolutely any musical materials. These kids deserve every opportunity in the world to make music, and the ukulele is one of the most impactful and fun ways to learn. These would be the only "larger" instruments these students have to learn on, and I know they would absolutely love being able to advance from egg shakers and tambourines to an actual ukulele.
