One of the best avenues for students to increase their love for reading is to read! The books selected for the Sunshine State Young Readers programs is a perfect tool to make this happen. The books are selected based on varied genres, multicultural representations, and a wide range of literature. Having books in the classroom allows access for all students. Students love the challenge of reading through the books and then sharing with their classmates their favorite parts! Watching them get excited about reading is rewarding, but more importantly helps prepare them to be lifelong learners!

About my class
