My students have access to so many wonderful books about so many subjects...except math. I would love to change that. I feel like there is a lot of good literature about math out there, but it is not readily available in most school libraries. With these new books my students will be able to have access to literature about the math subjects they will learn with me during class in our own class library. I will also use the books to incorporate literature and reading during our math lessons. For many of my students reading is their favorite subject, I am hoping to help them love math just as much as well!
