The expanded Early Childhood Center space that we were given this school year does not have outside windows to allow for natural lighting or the ability to look out the windows into nature; however the faux window frame with a full color natural forest scene and calming cloud filters for the fluorescent lights in our play space will provide an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and language development.
These child-size materials will enhance the learning environment by allowing the young children to explore dramatic play themes. During active pretend play, young children use their bodies and minds to learn problem-solving skills, cooperative play, and language.
