Students will use these stackable stools during their small-group learning time at the horseshoe table in the classroom. Having these stools available for student use will allow for smoother and quicker transitions, since students will not have to carry their chairs across the room, thus maximizing small-group learning time.
During independent learning time, and when these stools are not being used for small-group learning time, the students may use these as a flexible seating option in the classroom. Flexible seating allows students to have a voice in their learning and make their own decisions that work best for their style of learning. It also motivates students in their learning since they have a choice of where they want to work.
I envision these stools being in use all day long, whether they're in use during small-group learning time or in use as a flexible seating option. I know the students will enjoy having these stools in their classroom as another seating option apart from their desk. I can see these being a great motivator in student learning!
