The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home". In other words, I know exactly where everything will go and what they will be used for. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The proposed items are designed to allow students to think critically, inquire, create, and problem solve through an authentic, real-world experience.
The donations to this project will provide my students an authentic experience to explaining their thinking through the use of podcasting microphones and Dash Dots.
By implementing podcasting, students will be able to explain their thinking through the use of real-world experiences. For example, students can discuss their book that they are reading through an original method that has real-life implications. Not only can they discuss topics that are presented throughout the book, but they can also interact with their peer's podcast too.
The Dash Dot robots that I am requesting will allow my students to use their cognitive processing skills to critically think and explore the world of coding. Students will be able to learning different programming tools that they can use throughout multiple content areas including language arts and mathematics.
Yet, in order to make all of my ideas a reality, I will truly need your support. Thank you in advance for your consideration!
