Teaching special education online can be challenging. It requires a personalized program to meet the needs of each student, so that they can learn and thrive individually. The most effective instructional teaching strategies for online special education is direct instruction/ coaching during this pandemic. My students require the following: comfortable desk chairs, headphones/earbuds, tablets/Chromebook, digital recorders, talking calculators, printers/printer paper, traditional school supplies, and reading pens with activities that help strengthen math and reading skills . These materials would help make a difference in my special education students' learning tremendously. My students will have all of their accommodation meet with the above resources.
