These notebooks will allow my students to grow independence with their writing by first drawing and then writing. Their drawing is reflects their ideas, thought, and draft. Students will be able to express their opinion, ideas, and knowledge into their notebook. With these notebooks, students will be able to explain and foster their own or other opinions. This will strengthen their communication skills and engage both sides of their brain. This is vital for dual language students. Students will use these notebooks as a daily journal and see their own growth.
