These materials will provide an incentive to complete work and a variety of ways of learning new content. My students often need positive reinforcement and brain breaks in the classroom. They also need a more hands-on approach to grasp an understanding of new topics. Colored pencils and coloring books make brain breaks more interesting. Fidget toys allow for a more productive learning environment and stress relief for the students. When the student is being rewarded for a job well done, they are more likely to engage and take interest in doing the work in the classroom. I want to provide a classroom setting where those who receive services from me are allowed to freely be themselves but to earn things they might enjoy, such as stickers, candy, snacks, breaks, and fidget toys.
