A day in the life of a preschooler includes lots of play and hands-on learning experiences. They must have exposure to the tools and materials that will help them to reach their developmental milestones. The art and math materials listed will allow my students to develop not only their fine motor skills, but will target their cognitive development and social-emotional development as well. Having materials such as playdough and magna-tiles will also help draw my students' interest and motivate them to learn and explore the environment in a safe, effective, and functional manner.
