All of our students are working on communication and behavior skills and benefit greatly from information being presented visually. These visuals help our students participate and learn in the general education classroom. For example, a visual schedule depicting each part of the students' school routine may help a student with autism successfully navigate through their day at school.
Our three to five year olds are much more engaged when their visuals are presented to them in color. The difference between a dull black and white visual versus a vibrant color-printed visual, is very clear with our population of preschoolers. The materials printed in color captivate their attention much more, increasing the positive impact they have on our students' success at school.
