As we all know, it can get a bit messy in the classroom, especially with little 6 and 7 year olds. What better way to keep their space clean, neat, and organized than with chair pockets! My students would use these to place on the back of their seats to keep their table space tidy. They would house their folders, notebooks, handwriting books, journals, etc. in these chair pockets to avoid an overflow of materials on their workspace.
With the help of chair pockets, students have a one stop shop to find all of their work for class. No more losing assignments or activities because they had too much on their desk. Because my students are in the dual language program, they have double the amount of folders/notebooks that other students have. These chair pockets would reduce the amount of missing materials while also increasing the amount of clear workspace they have on their table space. There is nothing better for learning than plenty of clear space to work.
The product I have selected provides plenty of space for several folders/notebooks, are durable in order to last many years, and securely stay in place on the back of a chair. My students would greatly benefit from having these as an organizational tool. It will teach them the importance of keeping their workspace clean and chair pocket organized. They will love the added sense of responsibility having their own chair pocket will provide them. I have seen many teachers use these as a tool and have heard great success stories from the use of chair pockets. Thank you for considering donating to my classroom!
