This pottery wheel will be used in the art room to enhance the artists’ exposure to 3D art through the use of clay. Additional wheels will be purchased to make a small group learning experience. These wheels will also be transportable and used in all three arts rooms on our campus. My artists look forward to using clay and love to talk about the previous pots they have made. While teaching clay to adults I noted that there are programs and simple terms that can be used to teach my young artists how to use a pottery wheel. I have been encouraged to seek funding for this equipment through grants and various organizations and hope to receive the funding through ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.
