My students need laptops to help them prepare for a technology-driven world. The donated laptops will allow students consistent access to the Internet, publishing documents, and keyboarding. I want to ensure that all students be given equal educational opportunity not limited by budget and access to technology. Students will use the laptops throughout the day in all content areas. The laptops will allow students consistent access to the internet, publishing documents, and keyboarding. (RL.2.10, RI.2.5, RI.2.10, RF.2.3-4, W.2.1-8, SL.2.2-6, L.2.1-6) The laptops will also assist in the learning of math as students complete lessons in Dreambox. Dreambox is a computer adaptive math program that provides individualized learning experiences that are deeply personalized for every student. (2.OA.A-C.1-4, 2.NBT.A.1-4, 2.NBT.B.1-9, 2.MD. A.1-4, B. 5-6, C.7-8, D.9-10, 2.G.A.1-3). The donated laptops will put students on a trajectory to College and Career Readiness.
