These materials will be used to help students practice the skills that they have learned about the career of a civil engineer. The materials will be used at school for students to build structures that they have designed on paper, individually and in small groups. They can easily transfer what they learn with the magna-tiles to the materials that they already have at home, i.e. Legos, cardboard boxes, straws, tongue depressors, etc. Additionally, they can use their district provided technology and apps like Scratch to help them learn how to code.
