Chair pockets will help the students learn organizational skills and be responsible for their learning tools/materials. It will allow students to easily access materials in their own learning space. The durability of these chair pockets will benefit Kindergarten students for many years.
Wiggle stools will allow the students to have safe, simple movement without interrupting learning. Offering healthy, safe ways to manage emotions is important and creates a positive classroom environment. Movement can be one tool used to help managing emotions. Active seating, such as a wiggle stool, has proven to increase blood flow throughout the body including the brain. Also, it increases ability to focus and on-task behaviors.
