Since my students come from low-income families, I want them to have their own school supplies. I wanted each child to have the supplies they need for school. Having their own writing tools will help them learn to write and express themselves. The compositions books will be a place for them to express their thought, emotions, and communicate through writing and drawing. The pencil boxes will be a place for their own supplies with their name. The binders will be their memory books for the year. They will be able to look back at them as see all they learned and did.
