My classroom serves a diverse group of Latino students from low-income families in an inner-city neighborhood, where Spanish is the primary language spoken. Many of these families have limited opportunities to explore educational resources outside the local community, such as zoos, museums, and other enriching institutions, which are crucial to broadening their students' learning experiences.
