I have 22 music classes from Kindergarten through 5th grade, with close to 500 students in all. My classes regularly sit in a circle for music games and activities. The round shape of this rug will help students form an organized circle. The large staff in the center of the rug will be used for note-naming practice. We will play games where students race to stand on certain notes. The music symbols around the rug will be referenced to reinforce music skills and concepts that we are studying in class. This rug is beautiful and will make the music classroom a more exciting and inviting place!
