Kids today are dealing with so many stressors. The world is so different and they are trying to navigate through the school day with all of the changes. The anxiety for these kiddos have skyrocketed and this leads my little kindergarten, first and second graders to be more anxious and to struggle with controlling their emotions. This would be a place for them to take a few minute breaks and get themselves in a place where they are ready to learn again so that they can feel successful at school. The Serenity Space will be a quiet place of absolute comfort for my students to unwind and regroup.
