Last year was so difficult for my students learning remotely. They were not able to play with each other and explore materials they normally would in a kindergarten classroom. Students need to be able to learn how to share, interact, and communicate with each other in person.
Learning through play is a vital skill in kindergarten that will affect them for the rest of their lives. With these materials my students will be able to play together while learning social skills that are developmentally appropriate. In the kitchen they will make meals for their friends. At the tool set they can build items from their imagination. With the magnetic blocks they can create three dimensional buildings. They will be so excited to see these materials in our classroom!
