I have chosen these materials so that students also receive new learning opportunities that do not involve paper, books, and pencils. I am trying to reach all aspects of learning in my classroom. I will be teaching them throughout the day, but I also want to explore on their own. I want them to make their own connections and "ah-ha" moments while using multiple senses. I want my students to teach and learn from one another. These extra activities will be used throughout the day in small groups so that all students are able to use the materials. Students will be able to choose which activity they would like to do for that time.
