We teach at a low income school where students come to us not experiencing playing outside and playing appropriately with each other. I'm asking for a variety of playground equipment will allow us to teach our students how to use different equipment, how to share equipment, and how to play appropriately with each other. At our school we team up and go to a different section of the playground each day. Our students need to explore different types of play in each of our 3 play areas (a basketball court, small field, and concrete slab next to a soccer field). Physical and mental health are a critical in a students educational day. When they are able to get out and play in a way that is fun and productive they are more successful academically in the classroom.
