My students are from an inner city area of Charlotte, North Carolina. They have a strong desire to be successful but all of my class is socioeconomically disadvantaged and some of my students do not even speak English. I have a third grade class of children who don't have access to computers, laptops, ereaders, and other technology at home (their families struggle to provide food, shelter, and clothing). I want my students to be globally competitive and the only way to make them competitive is to teach them how to use technology. So, please support this project and provide my students with the accessories necessary for both classrooms to be able to successfully use the Nooks. Please support this project with your generous donations, so we can make the best use of the technology that we currently have for our students!
