This school garden will bring the class and school together to enjoy nature. It will help students focus on gardening tasks such as weeding, watering plants, searching for bugs, and create a calming space. The garden will teach students about nutrition and how to respect nature.
The garden will help students learn social skills, responsibility, teamwork, enrich academic success and cultivate their minds, hearts, and plants.
The garden will be open to all at the school and give students a chance to interact with plants in a fun way. Math and science lessons will be integrated in the time spent in the garden. Most importantly it will allow students a chance to work together and create a community of learners.
