Support Mrs. Hentnick's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
Young children learn best through hands-on experiences where they can touch and manipulate toys and learning objects. While virtual learning experiences can meet the needs of most students, nothing beats being able to provide students with live, learning opportunities where they can manipulate objects to make meaningful learning discoveries. The items purchased through this project will provide a class of twenty, inner-city children with personal learning kits that will make learning standards come to life. Skills taught will include learning letter names and sounds, word building and the foundations of reading, along with learning to count, number sense and so much more!
