The materials listed will make a significant difference in my students's learning experience. We do a lot of hands-on, project based learning. Therefore, we need supplies to make that possible. For example, you will see Model Magic in my cart. Which is clay that students use in a hands on project to build different landforms in one of our social studies unit.
In second grade, we also have a big nonfiction unit, most of the books in our classroom are outdated and worn out, making it difficult for students to use. Some brand new books would benefit our classroom greatly.
Due to Covid 19, I have been teaching all year with a mask on. It's very difficult for students to understand me, and I arrive home everyday with a sore throat from speaking loudly through my mask. You will see a portable microphone in my cart, which will help me teach better throughout the day.
You will also see little supplies, like award certificates, things that simply make them HAPPY and celebrate all of their small or big accomplishments.
