I want to give my students more freedom to explore their learning environment through flexible seating. Something we have learned over the last 18 months is that the traditional way of sitting at your desk all day to learn is not the best way for all students. Flexible seating will give my students the opportunity to move freely about the classroom using their portal lap desk for pencil and paperwork, reading books, and working using technology. This project also includes dry erase circles for small group work to allow students to demonstrate their thinking.
