Brain research shows us that students learn best when they are actively engaged. With perimeter kit and geometric shape for this project I can deliver memorable classroom instructions and help my students better understand and also retain content. Allowing students to draw out graphs on the chart paper is a strategy that will activate the different areas of the brain In the past I have incorporated games to help motivate and capture my students attention. However, after time game pieces are lost and worn out and need to be replaced. There is a great need for the vocabulary card and flash cards that will aid in the understanding of the mathematical vocabulary.
