Some students have difficulty with self-regulating their emotions during the busy school day. Currently, with having a class of diverse students, we focus on teaching them how to self-regulate. Being young, students are still learning how to control the many emotions of starting school for the first time, and for all, the first time in person for the last year and a half.
The wiggle seats will allow some students who may need different seating options. The sensory bin will be available in the break corner for students who may need a small break as well as the fidget tools will help students who have specific sensory needs to focus while learning.
