Students come from low socioeconomic households. They do not have a lot of access to text at home. These books requested will give them access to text in an everyday setting that is engaging to them. The more exposure to text and language, the more the learning gap can close for the student. All books will be given to students to take home to practice reading and comprehension skills. Books were hand-picked by students of what they would like to read.
Ottomans and tilt stools will engage students in the classroom and serve as positive reinforcement for good behavior and to help serve students' learning styles. Help us help our kiddos!
