These seat pockets will hang on the back of students chairs to assist them in keeping their materials close by. By keeping materials close to each student we can follow best practices for keeping our students safe due to the current pandemic. These individual seat pockets will allow students to keep their books at their seat negating the need to move around the room or touch others students things. In addition to staying safe these pockets will help with classroom management and the flow of the room. Lessening the amount of time students need to get up and move about the room collecting materials enhances their educational productivity. Finally I am most hopeful that these pockets will allow us more room to keep our reading books, especially those used for enjoyment, close by so that we can lean on reading as a more intentional way to help with transitions, downtime and/or small group work time.
