My preschoolers with special needs greatly need sensory and imaginative play materials to optimal learning experience in order to facilitate communication and interaction, regulate their bodies, and help them to feel calm, safe, and focused to learn and grown. The sensory times requested include sensory circles and busy boards to help to meet their individual needs and provide opportunities for developmentally appropriate learning in a diverse classroom. Many of the items requested allow the children to learn through play experiences using problem-solving and imaginary skills. These materials were chosen with health and safety in mind and can be easily cleaned.
