Many of my students come from low-income, struggling families. I provide a snack each day at school to help keep the class satiated, motivated and ready to learn.
My district provides an iPad for each student but does not provide any headphones/earbuds. Without headphones, it is very difficult for my students to stay focused on their assignments and not become easily distracted by one another. Students also take their iPad home once a week for continued learning. Headphones and earbuds would allow my students to complete work, stay focused and achieve their academic goals at home and in our classroom!
