My kindergarten friends will be using the ipads to play their literacy and math games for remediation and enrichment. My students go to learning centers every day, and the ipad center will function on a rotational basis, with friends signing up and taking turns.
My students have many apps they use for reading and math, and the availability of technology is non-existent currently. Since my students do not have access, we are not able to play the games we need to to grow our skills. Many students do not have availability at home either, so they may borrow the ipads to take home.
My students love to play our learning games, and pre-pandemic we had a technology cart that was shared. The cart was dismantled to accommodate virtual learners, so my kindergarteners do not have an technology in their room.
