My special education preschoolers often learn better when given colorful visual representations of directions and concepts. By having a color printer available, I can not only print pre-made online resources, but I can help my students create their own books and posters to learn from. For example, when learning different verbs, I can create a booklet with pictures of my students performing different actions such as eating, drawing, jumping etc. They can share these books with their families to review and help their families feel more connected to their learning.
