When teaching, one of the most important aspects is the classroom environment. The materials requested are all items that will make the classroom feel more like home. The chapter books will provide a diverse set of stories for the students to enjoy and relate to. The flexible seating will be a great addition, especially for those students who cannot sit at a desk all class. The rest are cosmetic materials that will transform our learning space to feel more comfortable and calming. As a young educator who drove from Rhode Island to Florida to teach, I want to be able to provide my students with as much as I can. This project will truly create a nurturing space for all.
