I want to have journals for every student where the students can practice writing fun sentences that do not need to make sense but are full of their creative imagination with each page for every letter of the alphabet. This would help students work on their ELA (phonics, rhyming, and creativity). The students can then draw fun pictures that represent all the fun sentences they wrote. If students need to learn remotely these journals could travel from school to home and back again.
RF.K.2-Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes).
